Les travaux que je mène visent à mieux comprendre le fonctionnement des instruments de musique et en particulier leurs aspects non linéaires. Ces travaux sont motivés par la volonté d’explorer les liens entre les paramètres géométriques de l’instrument (fixés par le facteur), les paramètres de contrôle (ajustés en temps réel par l’instrumentiste) et les caractéristiques du son produit. Mes recherches se concentrent sur les instruments à vent.
