Acoustical self-sustained oscillations

This research area is dedicated to nonlinear dynamical systems that can auto-oscillate and thus produce sound. The aim is both to develop generic methods for the fundamental analysis of dynamical systems and to provide practical results for real-life cases. The fields of application include instabilities in industrial context, and sound production by musical instruments and voice.
